Highlandtown Elementary/Middle School Renovation & Additions

The Work consists of the addition of a 45,000 Sqft educational wing addition, renovation of the existing cafeteria and IT/Data upgrades throughout the existing facility. The addition is a three-story addition steel framed superstructure, metal deck, CFMF exterior walls with brick veneer. The school will not be occupied during construction. Site work will consist of new storm water and structures, paving and sidewalk replacement. New playfield and site features are also identified. Other building features are new Aluminum Storefront, TPO Roofing System and interior finishes along with the specified mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. The Project is designed and shall be constructed to achieve LEED Silver certification.

Maryland Food Bank – Addition & Renovations

Maryland Food Bank is a 21,000 sf, renovation and addition located at 2200 Halethorpe Farm Rd, Baltimore, MD 21224. The renovation and addition take place in an existing 80,000 sf warehouse and 2,000 sf commercial kitchen area. The warehouse is structurally comprised of concrete slab on grade with steel framing and tilt-up concrete wall panel construction.

The new addition and renovation scope is composed of developing both first and second floor office space as well as the renovation and expansion of the existing commercial kitchen.

SARC Renovation & Addition

Approximate 20,000 GSF renovation to an existing building. Project includes a two story addition (approx 7,200sf). The addition will be located on the West side of existing building where parking lot resides.

There are two separate sets of drawing identified as Phase 1 and Phase 2. Both phases are part of this contract and should be priced accordingly. Please utilize CAM’s Bid Form.

Major components for this project include the 2 Story addition and replacement of the buildings Heating and Cooling systems, installation of a natural gas generator, new utility service, LED lighting upgrades, reconfiguration of interior space and relocation of building entry points. This project will pursue Energy Star certification. The building will be vacated to facilitate this work.

Generally, the new construction consists of steel bearing superstructure, metal deck, single-ply membrane roofing, d/f/h, aluminum storefront systems, and interior finishes along with the specified mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.

This project is designed and shall be constructed to achieve LEED Silver certification.

Both new schools will be 94,000 SF 2-story, K-8 schools, and will be built simultaneously. All major trades are involved including: hazmat abatement, demolition, sitework, concrete, masonry, steel, milllwork, roofing, storefront, finishes, specialties, elevator, sprinkler, mechanical, and electrical.

Although drawings are very similar it is the trade contractors responsibility to determine scope of each project and bid accordingly.
