The Project consists of phased selective demolition and renovation of portions of the existing Bel Air Town Hall and Police Department and Phased construction of additions to the existing facility. The building will remain in use throughout construction.  Active construction zones will be required to be partitioned off to maintain a safe working environment for the Police and Town administrative staff.
Generally, the new construction consists of load bearing masonry and steel, precast plank at the second-floor structure with structural steel and metal deck at the roof structure, masonry veneer, exterior metal wall panels, mechanically attached TPO membrane roofing, aluminum windows, storefront, casework and interior finishes, along with the specified mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
