Description: This Bid is for the demolition and replacement of TWO (2) schools:
1) Graceland Park – O’Donnell Heights Elem/Middle School No. 240
2) Holabird Elem/Middle School No. 229
Both new schools will be 94,000 SF 2-story, K-8 schools, and will be built simultaneously. All major trades are involved including: hazmat abatement, demolition, sitework, concrete, masonry, steel, milllwork, roofing, storefront, finishes, specialties, elevator, sprinkler, mechanical, and electrical.
Although drawings are very similar it is the trade contractors responsibility to determine scope of each project and bid accordingly.

NOTE – FOR BOTH BUILDINGS: wage rates, unit prices, and alternates apply.
MBE REQUIREMENTS: MDOT Total goal – 32%, with African-American (7%) and Asian (4%) sub-goals.
This project is also available for public bidding via the Cam Construction Public Plan Room.

CAM in association with the Baltimore City 21st Century School Program is seeking trade contractor pre-qualifications for bidding the Robert Poole School, 1300 W 36th Street, Baltimore, MD 21211.
The project includes interior and exterior renovation of the existing 65,600 square foot three story structure and gym wing and a new 73,100 square foot multi-story addition.
Certified Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice.
The contractor or supplier who provides materials, supplies, equipment and/or services for this construction project shall attempt to achieve the MBE goals as follows: Total MBE=30%, with sub-goals: African-American=7%, Asian=4%. The bidder or offeror acknowledges the requirements of the MBE Participation and the MOED Workforce Development Programs, and will submit their completed forms accordingly.
The scope of work for this phase includes the Renovation of Main Street which includes raising the roof structure and replacement of the flooring and window system for the first floor corridors. The facility is occupied though Main Street will be vacant. This is a Tax Exempt project. Auto Temperature Controls are to be provided by Johnson Controls. Fire Alarm is to be provided by Alarmtech Solutions.
